The third, and possibly final in the UniVibes series of CDs, Jimi In Denmark again showcases the Experience on their tours of Sweden. Good performances throughout, the band seemed to be more relaxed during their tours of Sweden. Maybe due to all the blonde Swedish babes :) But anyway, you get a great Catfish Blues and Tax Free to open this CD. An interview follows, quite a long one actually, I would have preferred 2 or 3 more songs in it's place but hey, I'm not in charge of UniVibes :) It's a pretty decent interview though, if that's your thing. An guitar feedback intro leads into Fire, again with somewhat distant vocals, but at least the music is clear. Voodoo Child follows, great as always. Foxy Lady (with nearly unheard vocals), and an extended Spanish Castle Magic (vocals again getting drowned out in the music) lead into the final track, the then-unreleased Freedom. The arrangement is similiar to how the `The Cry Of Love/First Rays Of The New Rising Sun' version would end up as.
Quality of this one is a little better than the second UniVibes CD. Vocals tend to be a little distant, but for the most part are clear. Univibes seems to want to focus on the more hard to find stuff, rather than just the best sounding material. And most Hendrix fans would have little reason to argue about that. Hard to find...this CD, along with the other two, can only be purchased by subscribers to Univibes magazine.
