Release Notes
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I first bought this album in 1978 for $2.99 in a record store. I had never even
opened the shrink wrap on it until today, June 22, 2003. This is early Hendrix
playing in clubs. I suspect it was when Jimi played with Curtis Knight as
reference is made in the beginning of Track 09 to "Curtis". I may be wrong on
this. There was no copyright date on the cover or the vinyl album itself. It was
made on the Astan Records label, printed in Germany, producer Ed Chalpin.

More early Hendrix to follow this one.

Enjoy!
